Hypermobility

Experts estimate that up to 10% of the general population may have some
degree of hypermobility, with women affected about three times more often than
men.
Both my children suffer in different ways with this condition and I have carefully planned exercises to help strengthen the muscles to support the ligaments rather than encouraging them to stretch their ever flexible joints even further, I have an increasing number of people in my classes suffering various levels of hypermobility who I'm able to help through my experiences of having hypermobile children.
If you are unaware of this condition this document is a fantastic read to give you an insight into how difficult hypermobility can make every day activities.
